According to the statistics of CISA, the daily output of crude steel was 1.8747Mt in major steel enterprises counted by CISA in mid-October, up by 0.08% compared with that in early-October. The total output of crude steel, pig iron, and steel products were 18.7472Mt, 16.6450Mt and 18.4621Mt respectively.

By estimation, the daily output of crude steel in the whole country was 2.4420Mt in the period, up by 0.06% compared with that in the previous ten days. During mid-October, the total output of crude steel, pig iron, and steel products were 24.4197Mt, 20.9316Mt and 32.0321Mt respectively in the whole country.

The stocks of steel products in these steel enterprises amounted to 12.8465Mt in mid-October, up by 3,900t compared with that in early-October.
